windows 8 compatible?

I downloaded the latest version (4.09 / 6) onto my PC running Windows 8. Tried to convert a .wmv video to a .GIF animated file. Got an error that read:
"Konvertor has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
After that, I now get the error all the time. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this error? Thanks.

Do you get the error when you try to convert or when you open a folder ?

Please convert your wmv to gif with VideoKonvertor.
Konvertor will be fixed soon.
